Resources for Parents and Support Teams

  • "ADHD is like having a Ferrari brain with bicycle brakes" is a powerful and vivid metaphor from Dr. Ned Hallowell explaining the paradox of ADHD.

Utilizing the Power to Pause helps strengthen the brakes. I will help you create cope ahead strategies to implement this idea.

  • "ADHD is a disorder of maintaining long term goals." - Dr. Russell Barkley

When consistency feels elusive I'll help you build persistence in moving toward your purpose/goals.  And here's the truth: even neurotypical people struggle with consistency!

  • ADHD needs to be thought of as a “team sport”. Aaron Croft, an ADHD expert, says we need scaffolding and accountability to thrive, but we often don’t seek help because we are ashamed to ask.

As your accountability partner, I will help you create scaffolding to move you towards your intentions and goals.

  • By the age of 12, a typical ADHDer has received 20,000 bits of data from peers, parents, and teachers that we are not enough or too much.

When we work together you will never be too much or not enough. You are perfect the way you are. I will work with you hand-in-hand to develop the right strategies to make you more authentically you.

As an ADHD coach with firsthand experience—both living with ADHD myself and raising a son with ADHD—I bring a deep, personal understanding of the challenges you and your loved ones face, along with the tools to help you thrive.

I’ve worn many hats in my life including being a teacher, wife, mother, community builder, and ADHD coach. Before being diagnosed with ADHD later in life, I struggled with feelings of never being enough, stuck in a relentless cycle of striving and falling short of expectations I set for myself.

Now, I coach courageous adults and teens with ADHD to thrive in all aspects of life. My commitment is to help you authentically live and thrive with ADHD. Together, we’ll find your unique path.

Education

I hold a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UCLA and have extensive coaching training and certifications through the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), Mentor Coach, and Professional Associate for ADHD Coaches (PAAC). I combine evidence-based coaching techniques with a deep understanding of the complexities of ADHD. My approach is rooted in fostering self-awareness, building practical skills, and cultivating resilience.

In addition to my certifications, I strive to stay at the cutting edge of ADHD research and strategies to support those with ADHD. This includes: Bi-Monthly ADHD Consulting Group Lead by Dr. Alan Graham, Stanford Neurodiversity Project classes and summits, and webinars and classes with PAAC, ADDA, ADDitude, and CHADD.

I’m Christina and I’m here for your success.
